Use of Prizma Optic Branches

Prizma Optic branches provide services for purchasing eyeglasses and contact lenses, professional consultation, and vision tests for all customers in Israel.

Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase or receiving service at the branches. This document serves as a legal basis for any discussion with Prizma Optic.

Entering the branches or making a purchase indicates your agreement to these terms. The date of writing this document (as stated at the top) may change from time to time, and therefore, we recommend reviewing the terms carefully before receiving service.

 

Purchases and Consultation Services

At Prizma Optic, customers can purchase a variety of products (eyeglasses, frames, contact lenses, etc.) and receive professional consultation from certified optometrists with extensive experience. To enjoy the branch services, you may be required to provide your personal details, including full name, phone number, and email address. It is important to ensure that accurate details are provided.

 

Vision Tests and Product Customization

All vision tests are conducted by a qualified and experienced team of optometrists.

Vision tests are offered free of charge upon purchasing eyeglasses. If eyeglasses are not purchased, the cost of the test is 200 NIS.

Contact lens and eyeglass fitting is carried out according to the prescription and the customer’s personal needs. In cases of customized solutions (e.g., multifocal lenses), a comprehensive consultation is provided, including demonstrations and guidance on the adaptation period.

 

Payments and Payment Terms

Payment for products and services can be made in cash or by credit card only. Installment payments are available depending on the transaction amount. Example:

  • A transaction of 500 NIS can be divided into 2 installments.
  • A transaction of 750 NIS can be divided into 3 installments.
  • Up to 6 interest-free installments are available.

Checks are not accepted.

 

Exchange and Return Policy

Prescription Glasses

Customized prescription glasses, including prescription sunglasses and contact lenses, cannot be returned or refunded.

Sunglasses

  • A transaction can be canceled within 48 hours of receiving the product.
  • A transaction cannot be canceled if the customer has used the product.
  • Cancellation is only possible if no adjustments have been made to the glasses.
  • Transactions on sunglasses priced above 1,799 NIS cannot be canceled.

General Conditions

  • Non-customized products may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase, with the original invoice.
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging.
  • A cancellation fee of 5% of the purchase value or 100 NIS (whichever is lower) will apply.
  • Opened contact lenses cannot be exchanged or returned.
  • No warranty is provided for broken eyeglass or sunglasses frames.
  • If only optical lenses are purchased and installed into the customer’s frame, Prizma Optic is not responsible for any damage caused to the frame.
  • Warranty on optical lenses covers coatings for one year, unless stated otherwise. Scratches on lenses are not covered under warranty.
  • Refunds for canceled transactions will be processed according to Prizma Optic’s policy using the same payment method.

 

Multifocal Lens Adaptation

Customers are entitled to a 3-month adaptation period from the date of receiving their glasses, subject to an optometry examination.

If adaptation to multifocal lenses is unsuccessful during this period, the customer may:

  • Upgrade to a different type of lenses for an additional fee, or
  • Receive two pairs of glasses – one for near vision and one for distance vision – at no additional cost (frames may be chosen from a wide selection).

 

Warranty

  • Product warranties are valid for one year from the date of purchase and cover manufacturing defects only.
  • The warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, breakage, or scratches on the lenses.

 

Privacy and Personal Information

Prizma Optic is committed to protecting customer privacy. All personal information provided in branches is used solely for service purposes and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.
