This document is written in the feminine form but applies to all genders.

The Prizma Optic website is a platform for purchasing eyeglasses and contact lenses for all visitors in Israel.
Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase or using the website. This document serves as a legal basis for any discussion with the company.

Use of the website is prohibited for individuals under the age of 18. Accessing the website, making a purchase, or using any information on it indicates your agreement to these terms.

The date of writing this document (as stated at the top) may change from time to time. Therefore, we recommend reviewing the terms carefully before each visit to the website.

We recommend registering on the website with a username and password. For registration, you must provide your full name, address, email, and phone number. Additional details may be required. It is important to ensure that all details are entered correctly, as incorrect information may lead to the cancellation of an order.

It is important to clarify that registering on the website constitutes consent to join the customer mailing list of Prizma Optic and to receive direct marketing communications.

By using the website, you agree and commit to using it lawfully and in good faith, without violating any Israeli legal provisions, intellectual property rights of third parties, including copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, or any other rights. Any use of the website’s content for distribution, publication, or defamation is at your own risk.

 

Purchases on the Website

Prizma Optic allows the purchase of a variety of products through the website prizma-optic.co.il (hereinafter: “the Website”) in a convenient and fast manner.

Purchases cannot be made on the website by individuals under the age of 18, in accordance with Israeli law.

All prices displayed on the website include VAT.

To enjoy the website’s services, you will be required to provide your details during the order process to allow for successful delivery. Required details include full name, phone number, address, email, ID number, and payment details.

Orders will be confirmed only after approval from the credit card company and after verification of all transaction details.

If a transaction is not approved by the credit card company, an automatic error message will be sent. The customer is responsible for contacting a representative via phone 053-4347265, contact form, or email at Service@prizma-optic.co.il to resolve the payment issue. Orders will only be confirmed after re-approval from the credit card company. If no payment arrangement is made within 7 business days, Prizma Optic reserves the right to cancel the order.

Providing false details is a criminal offense, and those who do so may be subject to legal action, both civil and criminal.

In the event of human errors, system bugs, or incorrect pricing/product information, Prizma Optic reserves the right to cancel and refund affected orders, subject to site administrator approval.

For every purchase of prescription eyeglasses or sunglasses with optical lenses, the buyer must agree to the Prizma Optic terms and conditions.

Every order for optical glasses (sunglasses or prescription glasses) will only be confirmed after approval by a Prizma Optic optometrist.

As of February 1, 2024, all optical products displayed on the website (excluding contact lenses) are for illustration purposes only. Eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses cannot be ordered through the website. Only standard shelf products may be purchased. For consultation regarding optical products, customers are encouraged to contact us.

 

Payments

Transactions can be made on the website using any credit card that Prizma Optic accepts. Prizma Optic reserves the right to modify, add, or remove payment providers at its discretion.

The ability to divide payments will vary based on the transaction amount. Installments may be divided into payments of at least 200 NIS per payment. Example: For an order of 400 NIS, up to 2 payments are possible; for an order of 600 NIS, up to 3 payments are possible. Payments may be divided into a maximum of 3 installments.

If no installment preference is selected, the full amount will be charged in a single payment (default option).

Changes to payment details or installment division can only be made directly with the credit card company.

If, for any reason, Prizma Optic is unable to fulfill an order, the customer will be notified, and a full refund will be issued. The company does not guarantee immediate availability of all products listed on the website.

By purchasing on the website, you confirm that the credit card used is either owned by you or used with proper authorization. The credit card must be valid. Unauthorized use of a credit card that does not belong to the customer is a criminal offense and will be subject to legal action, both civil and criminal.

The website does not accept payments via non-organizational club cards, prepaid cards, or associate cards.

 

Products

Prizma Optic offers a wide variety of products (eyeglasses, frames, lenses, etc.) and services (eye exams, fittings, etc.). While we strive to maintain product availability, there may be instances where an item is out of stock and cannot be supplied.

In such cases, Prizma Optic reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund to the customer with prior notification.

Product images on the website are for illustration purposes only.

Prizma Optic reserves the right to modify product inventory and prices at any time without prior notice.

All prices include VAT but do not include shipping costs.

Shipping

Prizma Optic ensures the delivery of all purchased products from the website to an address within Israel where the designated shipping company operates, within the timeframe specified on the product’s sale page unless otherwise stated on the website.

The delivery time for products purchased on the website ranges from 3 to 21 business days.

Shipping cost: Delivery within up to 7 business days35 NIS. Orders over 400 NIS are exempt from shipping charges. Shipping costs may increase or decrease at the sole discretion of Prizma Optic.

If an order is canceled after it has been approved, the customer will be refunded the transaction amount minus the processing fee of 5% of the transaction value or 100 NIS (whichever is lower) and the “cancellation fee.”

Customers may request to have their order delivered to the Prizma Optic store for self-collection, which is offered free of charge.

Providing incorrect details during an order may result in failure to deliver the product to the correct location on time. In such cases, the order will be returned from the courier company to Prizma Optic, and the customer will be charged for shipping costs.

Prizma Optic shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in delivery due to force majeure events or other circumstances beyond its control, including strikes, lockouts, and similar occurrences. In any case, Prizma Optic’s liability for delays, disruptions, or failures in product deliveries shall be limited.

Services purchased on the website are only liable for direct damages caused by an act or omission of Prizma Optic or its representatives, up to the cost of the purchased product or service. Prizma Optic and its representatives shall not be held responsible for indirect, consequential, or special damages caused by delivery delays or failures, including loss of income or profit.

 

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Prizma Optic strives to provide high-quality products. However, we understand that you may change your mind, which is fine. The return process should be conducted as follows:

  1. Notification of intent to cancel must be made via phone (WhatsApp only) at 053-4347265 or email service@prizma-optice.co.il in accordance with Section 14E(b) of the Consumer Protection Law.
  2. The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by the purchase receipt.
  3. The product must be returned to the Prizma Optic store within 30 days from the date of purchase, subject to prior coordination.
  4. The product must be a standard shelf product and not a custom-made product.

Returns/exchanges/store credit are not available for custom-made products, including prescription glasses, contact lenses, or optical sunglasses, unless an official Prizma Optic optometrist confirms an issue of non-adaptation.

Contact lenses and solutions cannot be returned, exchanged, or credited if their packaging has been opened. If the prescription changes, an exchange can be made in-store.

No cash refunds will be given for products priced above 1,799 NIS.

A cash refund will only be issued for non-customized glasses if requested within 48 hours of receiving the purchase. The refund will be processed within 14 business days per credit card company policies.

A product meeting the above conditions may be exchanged for another product from the website or a store credit voucher valid for 12 months.

The decision regarding defects in a product will be made at the sole discretion of the store manager or a Prizma Optic optometrist. For contact lenses, opening the original packaging will be considered proof of use.

The refund will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the returned product and will be issued via the original payment method, minus the shipping fee (35 NIS) and transaction cancellation fee.

For orders containing multiple products, partial refunds are not available. Customers may cancel the entire transaction or keep all items.

 

Warranty

The warranty for products is subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 1981, and in accordance with these terms.

The warranty period is one year from the date of purchase and covers manufacturing defects only.

The warranty does not cover breakages, scratches on lenses, or damage caused by improper use.

The warranty is valid only at the store, and a purchase receipt must be presented.

If an error occurs on the website regarding the product description, pricing, payment terms, product image, or any other details, or if incorrect information is provided by the customer, Prizma Optic reserves the right—but is not obligated—to cancel the transaction entirely or partially and refund any payments made.

Prizma Optic strives to maintain a functional and efficient website. However, technical issues may arise, leading to disruptions or failures in the software, hardware, or telecommunication systems. Prizma Optic shall not be held liable for any damage or loss resulting from website usage issues.

In any case, Prizma Optic and its representatives shall not be held liable for any damages or losses incurred by website users or their representatives.

Adaptation Difficulties

When receiving multifocal glasses for the first time, the customer will receive guidance from a certified Prizma Optic optometrist, providing all necessary information for the quickest adaptation to multifocal lenses. Adaptation may take anywhere from a few hours to several months.

It is important to note that purchasing multifocal glasses from Prizma Optic includes a warranty covering non-adaptation to multifocal lenses. The customer is entitled to a 3-month adaptation period from the date of receiving the glasses.

Selecting the appropriate lens tailored to the customer’s needs will facilitate a quicker adaptation process.

The eyes must adjust to viewing through a multifocal lens, requiring some patience and, most importantly, a willingness to adapt. 80% of successful adaptation is due to the customer’s determination.

After the adaptation period, vision becomes more natural and comfortable. In cases of non-adaptation, customers are invited to visit our store for a free follow-up examination, and we will replace the product at no additional cost.

If, after a reasonable adaptation period, the lenses still do not suit the customer, alternative solutions may be recommended.

 

Intellectual Property

The content displayed on the website, including images, trademarks, logos, graphics, videos, articles, and the general appearance of the website, is the exclusive property of Prizma Optic (unless otherwise stated).

Any commercial use, copying, public display, modification, duplication, or reproduction without explicit permission from Prizma Optic constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in civil or criminal legal action.

Intellectual property rights apply to all forms of usage, whether deemed “positive” or otherwise.

 

Privacy Policy

Prizma Optic respects the privacy of every individual. Therefore, you must read this policy before using the website, especially before providing personal details. If there is any information you do not wish us to know, please do not provide it.

Prizma Optic may update this privacy policy due to changes in the law or other reasons. We recommend reviewing this privacy policy periodically.

Purchases Based on Prescription

All purchases of prescription glasses, reading glasses, or prescription lenses must be made using a valid prescription approved by a Prizma Optic-certified optometrist.

A valid prescription is one that is less than one year old and includes the following details:

  • Sphere (SPH)
  • Cylinder (CYL)
  • Axis
  • ADD (for reading power)
  • Pupil Distance (PD)
  • Data must be specified separately for each eye.

Prizma Optic reserves the right to contact customers if the provided prescription appears incorrect. If necessary, the customer may be invited for a free eye examination as a condition for processing the order. Prizma Optic also reserves the right to cancel any order if the customer refuses to undergo an eye exam, with prior notification.

 

Website Modifications

Prizma Optic reserves the right to make modifications to the website at its sole discretion. Changes may include website appearance, pricing, images, promotions, structure, or any necessary adjustments. Such changes may cause temporary technical issues during browsing or purchasing.

It is clarified that customers shall not have any claims or legal action against Prizma Optic due to future changes to the website.

 

Customer Club

The Prizma Optic Customer Club provides updates on store promotions and facilitates an easier purchasing experience by storing customer details, eliminating the need to re-enter them for each purchase.

 

Spam Policy

In accordance with Amendment No. 40 to the Communications Law (Bezeq and Broadcasting) 1982, Section 30A, by registering, you authorize Prizma Optic to send marketing materials via email, SMS, automated dialing system, fax, or any other means as determined by the company.

Conditions for Transaction Cancellation

Customers may cancel a transaction within 48 hours of receiving the product without providing a reason. Refunds will only be granted for glasses that were not custom-made or specially prepared.

The refund will be processed within 14 business days according to the credit card company’s policies, deducting the shipping fee (35 NIS) and a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will be 5% of the product’s price or 100 NIS, whichever is lower.

The product must be in new condition, unused, and in its original packaging. If the product has been damaged or is not in its original condition, we reserve the right to reject the cancellation request.

Contact lenses and solutions cannot be returned, exchanged, or credited if their packaging has been opened. If a prescription change occurs, an exchange may be made in-store.

Refunds will not be issued for products with a listed price exceeding 1,799 NIS.

For transactions involving multiple products, partial refunds are not available. In such cases, the entire transaction must be canceled or not canceled at all. The cancellation must comply with all the above conditions.

Decisions regarding product defects will be made at the sole discretion of the store manager or a Prizma Optic optometrist. For contact lenses, opening the original packaging will be considered proof of use.

 

Cancellation Process

  • Cancellation Request: The customer must send a cancellation request to Service@prizma-optic.co.il or contact our customer service via WhatsApp at 053-4347265. The request should include order details and the reason for cancellation.
  • Product Return: After receiving the cancellation request, we will provide instructions on how to return the product. The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or does not match the order.
  • Refund: Once the returned product is received and inspected, the refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the purchase, within 14 business days.

 

Defective or Incorrect Products

If a product is defective or does not match the order, the customer may request a refund or exchange. In such cases, the customer should contact our customer service as soon as possible.
