Terms of Service – Prizma Optic Mobile Service "Prizma Express"
Introduction
Prizma Optic (hereinafter: “the Company”) provides mobile optometry services, including eye exams, prescription glasses fitting, and the sale of frames and lenses. This document outlines the terms and conditions for this service.
Definitions
1.1 “Customer” – Any individual or entity ordering services from the Company.
1.2 “Service” – Mobile optometry services, including eye exams, sale of frames, and lenses.
1.3 “Products” – Prescription glasses, contact lenses, sunglasses, optical sunglasses, and similar items.
Services
2.1 The Company offers mobile optometry services, including eye exams and prescription glasses fitting.
2.2 All eye exams will be conducted exclusively by certified professionals.
Product Delivery Time
3.1 Estimated delivery times after order placement:
- Stock lenses: 1-7 business days (typically within 72 hours of order placement).
- Custom lenses, including multifocal: 5-17 business days.
Promotions and Discounts
4.1 Promotions offered in-store will not apply to mobile optometry services, and vice versa.
4.2 The Company reserves the right to modify promotions at any time.
Eye Exams
5.1 The cost of an eye exam is 500 NIS (for 5 people, each additional person – 50 NIS).
5.2 The price is determined according to the Company’s policy and may change over time.
5.3 To schedule an eye exam, the customer must pay a deposit of 500 NIS, which constitutes the full exam fee. Advance scheduling is required.
5.4 Eye exams are available only for businesses or groups of at least 5 people.
5.5 If the customer chooses not to purchase glasses, the exam deposit fee is non-refundable.
5.6 Customers may request mobile optometry services without an eye exam. In such cases, lenses may be ordered based on a previous prescription (subject to lens condition) or a valid personal prescription. In this case, no deposit is required.
5.7 Cancellations – Eye exam appointments may be canceled up to 48 hours in advance for a full refund.
5.8 Home eye exams for private customers are offered only in exceptional cases (by prior arrangement via WhatsApp).
Order Cancellation
6.1 If a customer cancels an order after it has been confirmed, they will receive a refund minus a processing fee of 5% of the total transaction or 100 NIS, whichever is lower, as well as any applicable cancellation fees. If an eye exam was conducted, the exam fee or deposit is non-refundable.
6.2 Cancellations must be submitted in writing and sent to the Company’s customer service email: nayedet@prizma-optic.co.il.
Returns and Exchanges
7.1 Custom-made products such as prescription glasses, contact lenses, and optical sunglasses cannot be returned or exchanged unless a Prizma Optic optometrist determines non-adaptability.
7.2 Refunds will not be issued for products with a listed price exceeding 1,799 NIS.
7.3 Contact lenses and solutions cannot be returned, exchanged, or credited if their packaging has been opened. If a prescription change occurs, an exchange may be made in-store.
7.4 All return or exchange requests will be reviewed by the Company in accordance with its policies.
Privacy and Data Security
8.1 The Company is committed to protecting customer privacy and handling personal information in accordance with data protection laws.
8.2 Collected data will only be used for the provision of services.
Legal Jurisdiction
9.1 Any dispute between the customer and the Company will fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Policy Updates
10.1 The Company reserves the right to update this policy periodically. Any changes will be published on the website.
Warranty
11.1 The warranty for products is subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 1981, and the terms outlined in this policy.
11.2 The warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase and covers manufacturing defects only.
11.3 The warranty does not cover breakage, scratches on lenses, or damages resulting from improper use.
Non-Adaptability Policy
12.1 When receiving multifocal glasses for the first time, the customer will undergo a consultation with a certified Prizma Optic optometrist, who will provide all necessary guidance for a smooth adaptation process. Adaptation may take from a few hours to several months.
12.2 Multifocal purchases from Prizma Optic include a non-adaptability warranty. Customers are entitled to a 3-month adaptation period from the date of receiving their glasses.
12.3 Selecting the correct lens suited to the customer’s needs will facilitate faster adaptation.
12.4 The eyes need time to adjust to progressive lenses, requiring patience and willingness to adapt. 80% of successful adaptation depends on the customer’s willingness to adjust.
12.5 After the adaptation period, vision will feel more natural and comfortable. If adaptation issues persist, customers are invited for a free follow-up exam at the optometry center, and replacement lenses will be provided at no extra charge. Customers may also schedule a follow-up eye exam at their location by contacting customer service via WhatsApp or email.
